These are pics from the Signature Tea service at The Rotunda at Neiman Marcus SF right downward where the activeness is in Spousal relationship Square, and it'll put the rumbly in that tumbly.
Oh, boy… I can't even look at these pics without wishing I was in that location right now stuffing my face with tiny sandwiches, cakes and cookies the size of my pollex.
Petty better than than Strawberry Popular-Tarts I'm having for breakfast correct now! (Although sometimes a Pop-Tart actually hits the spot, I can't prevarication.)
I met some friends there final week, Arianne from The Glitter Geek blog, her baby girl Sarah and my buddy Marisol.
The Signature Tea service is a wonderful fashion to have a suspension from shopping for a few hours if you're ever visiting the urban center with friends. It costs $45 for ample ambient, a pot of tea for each person (called from among a broad diverseness of flavors) and savory sandwiches, sweets, scones and fruit for noms.
Anybody has a different nom-eating strategy, but I started with the savory sandwiches (the sliced cucumber ones with cream cheese were my favorite, followed closely past the egg salad), and so moved on to the scones (which I doused in lemon curd), before finishing with the sweets, which included a gingerbread cookie that fabricated me experience like I was melting into my chair…
And then Good.
Of form, the tea was delectable, likewise. I ordered the vanilla decaf black, and it perfectly paired with the snacks.
If you lot become, I recommend making reservations first, just in case information technology'due south a decorated day, and request for 1 of the tables with a view of Union Foursquare.
It just kicks the feel upward a notch.
I think information technology would be a fun experience for a girls' day, or perhaps a mom and daughter day. Mayhap side by side time you're in SF?
